RANGERS WIN CACTUS LEAGUE OPENER
The Rangers were true to form in opening the 2009 Cactus League spring training league play. They bombed the Kansas City Royals, 12-7.
Nelson Cruz, who will be leaving camp next week to play in the World Baseball Classic -- was one of three Rangers to hit a home run in the opener.
Hank Blalock and .Josh Hamilton also went downtown.
