April 23 - at New York Yankees
Chan Ho Park -- As a Ranger Park has made one start at Yankee Stadium -- beating New York while allowing only two earned runs in six innings. This season Parkhas made one start on the road, pitching 5.2 innings in a no decision outing -- allowing three earned runs on four hits.
Jaret Wright -- Has never pitched against the Rangers prior to today's game. A free agent signee, the 6-2, 230 pound right hander has been less than outstanding for the Yankees so far this season. Wright has started twice at Yankee Stadium this year with a 1-1 record. He allowed 14 earned runs and gave up 19 hits in those two outings.
Gerald Laird (AAA) -- For the third straight night Laird turned in a three for four performance at the plate -- raising his Pacific Coast League average to .413 for the season.
Ian Kinsler (AAA) -- Once again doubled in four trips to the plate.
Adrian Gonzales (AAA) -- Homered in his first game since being sent back to the minors by the Rangers.
