April 22 -- at New York Yankees

Chris Young -- makes his first appearance ever at Yankee Stadium or against the New York Yankees. Young has made one start on the road this year lasting four innings while giving up three runs, all earned, on seven hits.

Kevin Brown -- The former Ranger righthander was shelled in his only start this year. In 2004 Brown started against the Rangers three times with unhappy results. Pitching a total of 15 2/3 innings, he was tagged for 18 runs and 30 hits, winning one of the games while losing the other two. Brown's only other start against his former team was in the 2000 season while pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgeres when he picked up the victory, going eight innings and allowing only two runs.

PROSPECT WATCH

GERALD LAIRD (AAA) turned in his second straight 3 for 4 performance, getting one double and an RBI.

JASON BOTTS (AAA) Blasted two doubles in a 3 for 5 performance which included a pair of doubles.

IAN KINSLER (AAA) had three hits in four trips to the plate, including a double and four RBIs. After a slow start in the Pacific Coast League Kinsler has raised his average to .250.

JUAN DOMINGUEZ (AA) made his first start for Frisco since being demoted from AAA. Against San Antoinio he pitched six innings, allowing four runs (3 earned) on eight hits and striking out five. He did not issue a walk and had no decision,
